"Egoritmos" is the third album by producer and rapper Bface. With a surprising variety of samples - from Flaming Lips to Itamar Assumpção - and inspired by genres such as Jazz and Angolan folk music, Bface presents a refreshing and authentic contribution to Brazilian Hip-hop. The album title is a wordplay with "algorithm" and "ego", which gives a hint of the themes approached along the tracks: internet culture and its effects on art, individual vs. societal crisis, modern-day racism, among other issues a young black brazilian artist faces everyday.
